Order first, then pack your rolls in a padded envelope or small box with a note: your name, email and order number. Don't mail film without an order — that's how rolls get lost.

Turnaround & negatives

C-41: most orders next day. Black & white: a few days more — every film gets its own developer and time, never a catch-all soup. E-6 runs longer. Call for today's wait.

Negatives wait at the counter, or ship back with mail-back at checkout.

Film lab FAQ

How do I get my scans?

By email — a download link the day they're done. Save them within 30 days, or make a free account at the link for unlimited storage so you can pull up old rolls and order prints any time.

What film can you process?

C-41 color (including single-use cameras), true black & white and E-6 slide — in 35mm, 120, 110, APS and 4×5. (No ECN-2 motion-picture stock any more.) We can handle a lot of weird film; just give us a call.

Noritsu or Frontier?

Both are commercial-grade lab scanners; Frontier scans run a touch softer and warmer, Noritsu a touch crisper. Border scans (the film rebate around the frame) are a Frontier thing, on 35mm. If you don't have a preference, leave it on Frontier.

Standard or high-res scans?

Standard 6MP scans look great on screens and print cleanly up to 11×14. High-res 24MP is for large prints, heavy cropping, or archiving — and it's where TIFF files, the scanner choice and border scans are available.

Why does black & white take longer?

Because we do it right. A lot of labs run every black & white film through one catch-all developer like HC-110. We don't — Tri-X, HP5, T-Max, Delta each get the developer and the time they were designed for, which is why the negatives look the way they should. It costs a few days.

Can you push or pull my film?

Black & white, yes, free — it's under Advanced options once you pick black & white, and label the roll. C-41 and E-6 are developed at box speed in our process.

How do I get my negatives back?

They're stored at YM Camera. Pick them up with your prints, or choose mail-back at checkout (+$6) and we ship them.

Do you charge for blank rolls?

You get a refund for the scanning, but not the developing — the chemistry gets used either way.

Do you sell film?
