How do you decide what to offer?
We check what your item is selling for right now, test it, and grade it, the same grading we publish on every used listing. You get a straight number, and you’re free to say no.
How do the trade-up bonuses work?
Nikon, Canon, and Sony run trade-up events a few times a year: trade qualifying gear toward qualifying new gear and the manufacturer adds a bonus on top of our offer. The live ones are listed at the top of this page.
Do I need an appointment?
No. Come in any time we’re open. For a big collection, a heads-up call helps us have the right person ready.
What should I bring?
The gear, whatever goes with it (batteries, chargers, caps, boxes), and a photo ID, which we need for every used purchase.
Do you buy gear that isn’t working?
Sometimes. Some items have parts or repair value. Bring it in; worst case, we’ll tell you what a fix would take.
Is trade credit worth more than cash?
It can be. Ask when you get your offer; depending on the item and what you’re trading toward, credit sometimes stretches further.
